“HRISHIGANDHA’S” 9TH ANNUAL SPRING FESTIVAL TO BE HELD AT BALURGHAT

Webdesk, TNI Balurghat, 21st March, 2016: Hrishigandha Culture Institute, a dance academy from Balurghat is going to organize its 9th Annual Basanta Utsab at Balurghat. The Program is slated to be starting from 7 am in the morning on 23rd March 2016. Hrishigandha is known to deliver certain innovative events in Balurghat, especially in art, culture and social performances. The main owner of the institute is Smt. Moumita Chakraborty, who herself is a classical Bharatnatyam Dancer is guiding the entire team with the much-focused endeavor. Mr. Krishnendu Sekhar Mahanta, a trained dancer in Kathak from the institute told TNI that the title of this year’s program is “Anando Bosonto Somagome”.
The main program will take place at Balurghat Baroary Kali Mandir Ground. According to the organizers of the program, the specialty of this year’s show would be a Kathak Dance form on Kabi Guru Rabindranath Tagore songs. This time, the parents of the little participants will also be taking part in the program. The organizers also maintained that the Holi colors which will be used in the program would be of Herbal nature by keeping in mind about the participation of small children in the show. Apart from the dance presentation, there would be live song and recitation performances also in the program schedule. Overall, the people of Balurghat will be experiencing a mesmerizing show of Basanta Utsab from Hrishgandha Cultural Institute.
